I build websites for Adelaide businesses.

Cafés, trades, salons and clinics. Designed and built by one local person, from just $150.

Adelaide was planned properly in 1837. Your website should be too.

Before anyone walks in, they look you up.

Usually on their phone, usually on the way. If what they find is an old Facebook page, or nothing at all, they keep scrolling to the next place.

A good website is the shopfront that's still open at 11pm.

Recent work

Cadence

The launch site for Cadence, a voice dictation app for Mac and Windows. Dark, quick and animated, with interactive demos where most sites put screenshots.

The Cadence homepage. A dark page headed 'The dictation app built for AI', with download buttons for macOS and Windows.

Example site

Bluebird Café

What a local café's website can feel like: the menu, today's hours, the bakery story and ordering ahead, all quick on a phone. Bluebird isn't a real café and its photos are AI-generated, so poke at anything.

Example site

Marrow Butchers

A local butcher's site that takes its time. One steak slides down the page as you scroll, past the cold room and the counter, then gets wrapped in butcher's paper with your name on the docket. Marrow isn't a real shop and its photos are AI-generated.

How it works

Five steps. You'll always know what's next and what it costs.

Step 1

Chat

A coffee or a phone call. You tell me about the business, and I ask a lot of questions.

Step 2

Plan

I sketch the pages and send you a fixed quote, usually $150 to $300. Nothing starts until you're happy with both.

Step 3

Build

You watch it take shape on your own phone as I go. Changes along the way are part of the job.

Step 4

Launch

Domain, hosting, your Google listing and email, all set up and handed over in plain English.

Step 5

Look after

New menu, new prices, new photos? Send me an email and it's done. No support tickets.

No jargon. No surprises.

One person, start to finish.

Lightplan is me, a web developer based in Adelaide. You won't be passed between account managers. You'll deal with the person designing and building your site, and I'm a short drive away.

I work with businesses from Gawler to the Fleurieu, and from the Hills to the beach.

Pricing

$150to$300

That's what most small business sites cost. Low prices, and a fixed quote before I start, so the price you agree to is the price you pay.

Every site includes

  • A design made for your business, not a template
  • Fast on phones, tablets and laptops
  • Set up for Google search and Maps
  • Domain, hosting and email sorted
  • Contact, booking or quote forms
  • Help with changes after launch

Let's get you online.

Tell me a little about your business. I'll reply with ideas and a fixed quote, usually $150 to $300.
